Kim Min-jae won a double in Serie A

At the end of the 2022-2023 season, the Secretariat of the Italian National Championship (Serie A) announced the awards for the best players in each position (MVPs of Serie A 2022/2023). The Serie A MVPs Award was established in the 2018-2019 season. This award does not determine the awardee through voting, but through the Stats Perform scoring system, based on match statistics, to ensure objectivity. Kim Min-jae has just moved to Napoli FC since August 2022 with a contract worth 18.05 million Euros, replacing Kalidou Koulibaly (to Chelsea). "Wet feet, dry feet" to Serie A, but this 1.9m tall center back quickly integrated and became a steel shield in front of Napoli FC's goal. After 37 rounds, Napoli FC only conceded 28 goals, the lowest in the league and won Serie A 5 rounds early.
