In Team 8, Tay Thuan Hamlet, Binh Son Commune, more than a dozen New Year's poles (cây nêu) are erected along the village road. From bamboo and lanterns to flashing lights, everything is prepared and decorated by the villagers themselves. Each house has a pole in front of its gate, creating a lively and warm atmosphere every time Tet (Lunar New Year) arrives. The custom of erecting New Year's poles has been maintained by the people here for many years, becoming a familiar cultural activity of the countryside.

Besides erecting the New Year's pole, in Phuoc Thien 1 fishing village, Van Tuong commune, the people also joined hands to build a "love bridge" to welcome the spring. Thanks to the contributions of money and labor from the villagers, after more than a month of construction, the bridge was completed and decorated in vibrant colors, creating a lively highlight for the seaside village. The project not only beautifies the landscape but also creates a community space for the people and their children returning home for Tet.
Despite their busy daily schedules, many people still take the time in the evenings to work together to complete the decorations. The unity and enthusiasm of the villagers have contributed to creating a new look for the village every spring.
The vibrant, colorful rural roads, created through the collective efforts of the local people, not only beautify the villages but also demonstrate a spirit of unity and community cohesion. This is also a way to preserve traditional cultural values and build a rich spiritual life in rural areas every time Tet (Lunar New Year) and spring arrive.
