Researcher Chau Phat, Vice Chairman of the Association of Culture and Arts of Ethnic Minorities, affirmed: "The Association contributes to spreading the distinctive cultural values of the province's ethnic groups, integrating them into the mainstream of national culture and arts."
Members of the Association of Arts and Culture of Ethnic Minorities attended a workshop organized by the Association of Arts and Culture of Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam in An Giang in 2023.
Besides the positive results, the branch's activities face difficulties in publishing works in ethnic languages; many members are busy with work and family responsibilities, limiting the time they can invest in in-depth creative writing.
Entering a period of renewal, the Branch Association aims to strengthen its organization, striving to develop into an Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities, focusing on promoting the creation of works with high ideological and artistic value; organizing writing competitions (such as Khmer poetry competitions), conducting field trips for creative writing; striving to publish literary and artistic works in ethnic languages; and paying attention to developing membership, especially central members, in order to strengthen long-term resources.
