The branch has 20 members who are members of the Vietnam Association of Ethnic Minorities (ET) Literature and Arts. During its operation, the branch always strives to gather and promote the creativity of ethnic minority artists, contributing to enriching the cultural and artistic life of the province.

Mr. Thach Do Ni, Head of the Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Groups (right cover), received the award for outstanding works 50 years after the country's reunification, voted by the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Bac Lieu province.

Focusing on political and ideological work, in the 2020-2025 term, the Association has extensively implemented "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". In addition, the Association has sent many members to participate in creative field trips in the province and regional creative camps... Many works of members have been published in central and local newspapers and magazines, and in particular, some members have been honored to be invited to read poetry at Vietnam Poetry Day 2024 in Hanoi .

Researcher Chau Phat, Vice President of the Association of Ethnic Literature and Arts, affirmed: "The Association contributes to spreading the unique cultural values of the province, blending into the general flow of literature and arts of the whole country."

Members of the Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities attend a workshop organized by the Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities of Vietnam in An Giang in 2023.

Besides the positive results, the Association's activities face difficulties in publishing works in ethnic languages; many members are busy with work and family finances, so they have limited time to invest in in-depth writing.

Entering the innovation period, the Association aims to perfect the organization, aiming to develop into an Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Groups, focusing on promoting the creation of works of high ideological and artistic value; organizing writing competitions (such as Khmer poetry contests), going on field trips to compose; striving to publish literary and artistic works in ethnic languages; paying attention to developing members, especially Central members, to increase long-term resources.
