On the afternoon of May 21st, the Department of Education and Training organized a training conference on examination regulations and inspection procedures for the 2026 High School Graduation Examination. The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation from examination centers throughout the province. Representatives from the Internal Political Security Department (PA03) of the Provincial Police, along with several news agencies and media outlets based in the province, attended the conference.

For the 2026 high school graduation exam, the entire province has over 14,000 registered candidates, including nearly 13,000 12th-grade students and over 1,400 independent candidates. The province has established 33 examination centers with 674 examination rooms. The Department of Education and Training has mobilized over 2,400 personnel to serve the exam, including 33 heads of examination centers, 66 deputy heads of examination centers, nearly 1,500 invigilators, and 254 examination room supervisors.

At the conference, management staff and teachers involved in the High School Graduation Examination were briefed on the new points in the examination regulations and guiding documents from the Ministry of Education and Training ; received training on examination supervision, invigilation, marking, and review; on protecting state secrets and ensuring the confidentiality of exam questions and answer sheets; on preventing cheating using high-tech devices; and on handling unforeseen situations to ensure the examination is conducted safely and in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, leaders of the Department of Education and Training pointed out shortcomings and limitations in the organization of the exam in previous years to learn from experience and improve the quality of this year's exam. They requested that exam centers proactively conduct a comprehensive review of all exam organization conditions; prepare adequate facilities, such as exam rooms, waiting rooms, and reserve rooms; rooms for storing exam papers and answer sheets; develop plans to ensure security and safety; strengthen the dissemination of exam regulations; and proactively prevent and respond to natural disasters, epidemics, and other unforeseen situations.

Through the training conference, delegates have basically grasped the regulations and procedures for organizing the exam, thereby proactively developing thorough preparation plans and organizing effective review sessions for students, contributing to the safe, serious, and successful organization of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination.
