The "Mobile Speaker for a Drug-Free Community" model and the "Rehabilitated Youth Living Healthy and Useful Lives" club are considered outstanding examples, clearly demonstrating the pioneering role of the youth of Phu An commune in maintaining peace and security.

Ms. Tran Thi Hue, Secretary of the Phu An Commune Youth Union, said that with more than 30 Youth Union members participating, the "Mobile Loudspeaker for a Drug-Free Community" model has become a bridge bringing information closer to the people. Information about the harmful effects of drugs, the methods and tactics of criminals, and prevention measures is directly conveyed to each household through mobile propaganda campaigns in the hamlets of the commune.

Not confined to hall meetings or group gatherings, the portable loudspeaker accompanies youth union members to every street and residential area, making it easy for people to access information. This closeness has created practical effectiveness, contributing to raising community awareness in the fight against drug abuse and social evils.

Building a robust healthcare security network from the grassroots level.In the people's healthcare system, primary healthcare is always identified as the frontline, the "extended arm" of the healthcare sector reaching every residential area. While the commune health station is the nucleus of the primary healthcare network, the village and neighborhood health workers are the closest to the people, contributing to the implementation of healthcare policies and becoming a crucial foundation in building a solid healthcare security network from the grassroots level.

The "Mobile Loudspeaker for a Drug-Free Community" model has long-term significance. Regular dissemination of information helps prevent drug-related risks and social vices early and proactively, reducing negative consequences for families and communities. When people are equipped with sufficient knowledge to proactively prevent these issues, society also reduces the costs and resources spent on handling violations. The model contributes to building a safe and healthy living environment where every citizen is conscious of working together to protect the peace of their neighborhood. Community bonds and solidarity are thus strengthened.

Paving the way for reformed youth

In addition to its awareness-raising activities, the "Rehabilitated Youth Living Healthy and Useful Lives" club, established with 19 members, has gathered and supported delinquent youth and reformed youth in reintegrating into the community. The club also creates a healthy environment for young people to cultivate moral values, enhance their awareness of law compliance, and avoid the risk of recidivism.

The club provides knowledge, life skills, career guidance, vocational training support, and job placement services for young people. Through these practical activities, many families have become more concerned about and reminded their children to stay away from social vices; young people have improved their self-protection awareness; and citizens have actively cooperated with law enforcement agencies to detect and report violations of the law.

Through the club's practical activities, security and order continue to be maintained, limiting the emergence of hotspots related to social evils in the area. At the same time, it helps young people improve their skills in propaganda and mobilization of the masses and fosters a sense of responsibility in participating in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Bich Loan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Phu An Commune Youth Union, through the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, political awareness has been raised, helping young people become more aware of their roles and responsibilities towards their families and society. Through volunteer activities and social welfare work, the pioneering spirit of young people has been strongly promoted. Practical actions such as environmental protection, caring for poor students, building charitable houses, and disseminating legal information... by young people have created a positive ripple effect in the community.
