Lang Giang: Donated over 950 units of blood

BAC GIANG - On August 16th, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Lang Giang District ( Bac Giang Province) organized the second Voluntary Blood Donation Day of 2023 with the message "Donate a drop of blood - Give the gift of life".

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and the People's Committee of Lang Giang District encouraged blood donation volunteers.

In recent times, Lang Giang district has intensified various forms of propaganda and mobilization to raise people's awareness about blood transfusion, fostering a spirit of mutual support and compassion for the community, and encouraging everyone to voluntarily participate in the "National Blood Donation Movement". As a result, this blood donation event attracted more than 1,000 volunteers, collecting over 950 units of blood, exceeding the set target.

In recent years, voluntary blood donation activities have attracted the participation of a large number of people from all walks of life. To date, Lang Giang district has organized 27 voluntary blood donation events for community health. Through these events, more than 26,000 volunteers have registered to donate blood, collecting nearly 17,000 units of blood, contributing to saving the lives of many patients.

(BGĐT) - On the afternoon of July 20th, the Lang Giang District Business Association (Bac Giang province), in coordination with the District Fatherland Front Committee, held an inauguration and handover ceremony for a solidarity house to the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Thi (born in 1963) in Ca village, My Thai commune (Lang Giang district).
