More than 40 readers, who are primary and secondary school students from the whole province, participated. In 90 minutes, each contestant drew a picture illustrating the content of the book they read, expressing their dreams and love for their homeland, country, sea and islands, and the people of Vietnam. At the same time, they briefly explained the message, meaning and inspiration from the stories to form a positive lifestyle in studying and living for students and teenagers.
From familiar stories, the contestants demonstrated their rich imagination and literary appreciation through vivid and creative drawings. Some works had tight compositions, bright colors, and clear and meaningful content.

The Organizing Committee awarded 2 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes and 15 Encouragement Prizes, of which the First Prize for Primary School was awarded to Le Vu Thao Nhi, Thai Dao Primary School (Lang Giang) with her illustration of the story "Snow White". The First Prize for Secondary School went to Ngo Khanh Chi, Le Quy Don Secondary School ( Bac Giang City) with her work "Meaningful Journeys" illustrating the story "The Adventures of a Cricket".
This is the first year that Bac Giang Provincial Library has organized the contest, and it is expected to continue every year during the summer, contributing to building reading habits and developing talents and creativity in students.
