Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit and encourage 135 new soldiers being trained in Ben Tre

On May 21, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Military Service Council led by Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung coordinated with the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee to organize a meeting, visit and encourage 135 newly enlisted soldiers who are being trained at the Training Battalion - Ben Tre Provincial Border Guard Command.

At the meeting, Major Nguyen Hoang Tien, Battalion Commander of the Training Battalion, said that in recent times, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Ben Tre province have always paid attention to and created favorable conditions for the training of newly enlisted soldiers. The training staff has promoted a sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, proactively studied documents, innovated teaching methods, closely managed soldiers, and ensured absolute safety during training.

Thanks to that, the unit has completed all the contents and programs according to plan; the number of soldiers studying and training reached 100%. New soldiers have made clear progress in political awareness, sense of organization and discipline and basic military skills. From the family living environment to the military, the soldiers quickly adapted, practiced regular manners, followed the daily and weekly regime, ensured military etiquette, mastered command movements, tactics, and significantly improved physical strength.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung praised the positive training results of the battalion's officers and soldiers and the comprehensive maturity of the new soldiers after 3 months of training. Ho Chi Minh City leaders highly appreciated the serious learning spirit, sense of organization and discipline and remarkable progress in both ideology, physical strength and military style of the new soldiers.

The Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee believes that the results achieved in the basic training phase will be a solid foundation for the soldiers to enter the next 1.5 months of professional training. After completing the entire training course, the soldiers will be ready to take on tasks, promote their role as border guards, and contribute to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's borders.

On this occasion, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City and Ben Tre province presented many gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of the Training Battalion and new soldiers.
