Yen Khanh District Labor Union launches Workers' Month 2024

On the afternoon of April 20th, at Chung Jye Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the Yen Khanh District Labor Union held the launching ceremony for the 2024 Workers' Month.

The 2024 Workers' Month in Yen Khanh district will be implemented with the theme "Workers' Solidarity - Implementing Resolutions". Accordingly, the activities will focus on: disseminating information, motivating and encouraging new momentum and enthusiasm so that trade union officials, members, and workers will be highly determined and make great efforts to act together to implement the resolutions of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Yen Khanh District Trade Union, the Resolution of the 16th Congress of the Ninh Binh Trade Union, and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023-2028.

Mobilize resources and seek partners through the union member welfare program to visit and support workers in difficult circumstances, those suffering from serious illnesses or work-related accidents; support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses; organize propaganda, cultural, and sports activities, and honor outstanding workers who have made significant contributions to the unit… Through these activities, identify and nurture outstanding union members to be recommended to the Party for consideration for membership. At the same time, promote the movement to build "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" models in agencies and enterprises, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene…

With the goal of "Each grassroots trade union benefits its members," the Yen Khanh District Labor Union calls on grassroots trade unions to organize practical activities during Workers' Month, especially to further improve the representation, care, and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of workers; to promote the attention of Party committees, government, the political system, businesses, and the entire society in building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class and a strong Vietnamese Trade Union organization. Through the activities of Workers' Month 2024, the aim is to awaken the tradition of solidarity and creativity and promote the pioneering role and sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, employees, workers, union members, and the working class in the district in effectively carrying out socio-economic development tasks in the locality.

On this occasion, the Yen Khanh District Labor Union presented financial support for the construction of "Trade Union Shelters" to two workers and 30 gifts from the Provincial Labor Union to disadvantaged workers in the district.

The launching ceremony marks the beginning of a series of intensive activities aimed at caring for and supporting the workforce in the district.
