Speaking to Dan Viet , the Miss Grand Vietnam organizing committee said that many young women born in 2003 and 2004 came to try their luck in this year's preliminary round. The contestants all knew how to choose outfits to attract attention from the moment they appeared in front of the camera. "From sophisticated and elegant outfits to bold designs, the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 contestants have showcased their confidence and unique personal style," a representative of the Miss Grand Vietnam organizing committee stated.

Regarding the selection criteria for Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, a representative of the organizing committee stated: "Although many beauty pageants are taking place in the country, Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 will maintain the same selection criteria as last year. We will not lower any standards."
According to Miss Ha Kieu Anh - Head of the judging panel for Miss Grand Vietnam 2023: "The judging panel will try to select a girl who is charming, intelligent, sharp, enthusiastic, and has a bit of a sense of humor because the Miss Grand International competition is different from other beauty pageants."
