In the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final held on the evening of August 3rd in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan , Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 Le Hoang Phuong took her final steps as the reigning queen in a revealing dress inspired by the sea of ​​Khanh Hoa .

On the super thin skirt, the designer meticulously attached thousands of sparkling crystals, Swarovski stones, sequins... to create a light-catching effect. The design took a month to make, in which the attachment stage took the designer hundreds of hours to do by hand, which is also the most elaborate stage.

On stage, Le Hoang Phuong was emotional as she reflected on her year as reigning queen and took her final steps. She said that the final walk was especially important to her, as it marked the end of her 10-year journey pursuing her passion for art.

Throughout her reign as Miss Vietnam, Le Hoang Phuong often wore dresses designed by Le Ngoc Lam on important occasions. The two have been close for the past five years, so they always understand and complement each other. "As a daughter of Khanh Hoa province, Le Hoang Phuong always wants to promote the beauty of her hometown's coastal region, so her important evening gowns are often inspired by the image of the sea," Le Ngoc Lam shared.

A year ago, at the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 final, the model wore a Seasick dress when she was crowned. The design had a dominant white and silver tone, using sophisticated embellishment techniques to create 3D waves that hugged Le Hoang Phuong's chest.

The dress is adorned with randomly arranged fringes, creating a wave-like movement when the wearer moves, thus highlighting the graceful steps of the beauty queen. According to Le Ngoc Lam, he had to use a lot of stones, crystals, and beads to create the perfect sparkle for the new Miss Vietnam when she performs on stage. The dress also features a high slit, accentuating the long, slender legs of the beauty from Khanh Hoa.

In the semi-finals of Miss Grand International 2023 last year, Le Hoang Phuong was praised for shining like a goddess when she wore a swan-inspired dress that took 300 hours to create with the help of 7 skilled artisans. The dress was inspired by the image of the swan, a symbol of fidelity, beauty, and elegance in art, as well as what Le Ngoc Lam felt about Le Hoang Phuong.

The chest of the dress is shaped like two 3D swans, shyly embracing the bust to create a sexy yet sophisticated look. On the transparent material, the designer used sophisticated embellishment techniques with thousands of radiant gemstones, helping Le Hoang Phuong shine under the stage lights.

According to Le Ngoc Lam, attaching the small beads scattered all over the surface of the dress is the step that takes him the most effort and time, especially to make the stones aligned, in the desired shape. The shape does not have many new points, but to handle the details to make them really stand out is not easy. "I always feel pressured to make the dress both have the Miss Grand character and fit Hoang Phuong's figure. The day Phuong tried on the outfit for the first time, I breathed a sigh of relief because all the efforts were worth it," the designer shared.

At the Miss Grand International 2023 final in October 2023, Le Hoang Phuong was named the 4th runner-up while wearing the Wave Crest Dress . The form-fitting design highlighted her 87-61-93 cm measurements.

Designer Le Ngoc Lam said that in one month, he and his team worked day and night to complete the dress. His biggest pressure was to help Le Hoang Phuong show off her perfect figure and catwalk skills on stage, creating a highlight and especially not disappointing the audience's expectations.

The gown is crafted from sheer mesh fabric, embellished with 3,500 sparkling crystal rhinestones and over 1,000 Swarovski crystals, a result of hundreds of hours of work by skilled artisans. Particularly noteworthy is the meticulously embellished bodice, creating a 3D effect that evokes the image of waves. Le Ngoc Lam incorporated asymmetrical techniques to create fluidity and softness, seamlessly connecting with the lower body. The dress's main color is silver, representing elegance and power, much like the shimmering sunlight on the waves.

Le Ngoc Lam said that he and Le Hoang Phuong have been close since she competed in Miss Universe Vietnam 2019. "After 5 years of working with Phuong, I've clearly seen a change in her style and demeanor. After many difficulties and challenges, Phuong has become more mature. Our relationship is not just professional, but also like a family bond," the designer shared.

Le Hoang Phuong was born in 1995, from Khanh Hoa. She is 1.76 m tall, with measurements of 86-61-94 cm. She graduated from the Architecture Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. The beauty was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 and competed in Miss Grand International in the same year. At the contest, she won the 4th runner-up position.

Le Ngoc Lam was born in 1990 in Ho Chi Minh City and graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture. He won second prize at the Aquafina Pure Fashion competition and second prize at the Triumph Inspiration Award . In 2017, he served as a judge at Miss Grand Japan .
