Is Huong Giang competing in another beauty pageant, vying for a prize of up to 26 billion VND?

Huong Giang has spoken out about the information regarding her participation in the Miss Grand International All Stars 2026 competition, which is for former international beauty pageant contestants and offers prizes ranging from 2.6 to 26 billion VND.

Appearing in an elegant off-the-shoulder pastel pink dress, Huong Giang and actor Duy Khanh Zhou Zhou were confident and energetic at a recent event.

In recent days, information about Miss Grand International All Stars has attracted significant attention from the beauty pageant community. The competition is open to women and transgender women aged 20-40, with no restrictions on marital status or motherhood, provided they have previously participated in international beauty pageants. Prizes range from $100,000 to $1 million USD (approximately 2.6 billion to 26 billion VND). The journey will begin in Thailand from January 25th to February 13th, 2026.

The CEO of Miss Universe Vietnam also shared this information when contacted by MGI. With the invitation from MGI - also the Thai organizer of Miss Universe 2025 - and the acceptance of transgender participants, many have speculated that the new pageant is looking to invite Huong Giang to compete.

Responding to media inquiries, Huong Giang stated that the schedule she shared on the afternoon of December 10th regarding her presence at Miss Grand International's Grand Sport Day 2025 was merely an invitation extended through Veena – Miss Universe Thailand 2025, who was her roommate at Miss Universe 2025. The beauty queen affirmed that this was an invitation to attend an event in Thailand on December 20th with other Misses and Runners-up from the MGI organization, and not a plan to compete in a beauty pageant.

At the press conference, Huong Giang also shared about the similarities between her and Duy Khanh in their spirit of constantly striving and moving forward, as both have experienced ups and downs.

When jokingly asked about the lipstick color her boyfriend, Phu Cuong, likes, Huong Giang said that all lipstick colors are beautiful and suitable for many different people. Using beauty products makes her feel younger and more confident, so she humorously said, "Anyone who stands in front of Huong Giang will like her."
