Artist Huong Giang of Thien Dang Stage told Tuoi Tre Online that Lan Tran passed away around 9:00 p.m. on November 29 after a period of serious illness.

Huong Giang said that Lan Tran initially lived in America, in an accident when he was young he unfortunately lost both legs.
Later, Lan Tran returned to Vietnam. He is known by many people in the industry for his great love of art and for supporting many singers, models, and actors.
Lan Tran especially loves the drama stage and is attached to Thien Dang Drama Stage. He is in charge of images from posters and plays for most of the plays at Thien Dang. Not only does he take pictures, he often goes up and down the stage to play with his brothers like family, so it can be said that Lan Tran is a member of Thien Dang family.

Huong Giang said Lan Tran and artist Thanh Loc are very compatible and work well together. Lan Tran quickly grasps Thanh Loc's ideas and realizes them in photo albums.
"Lan Tran has a very open artistic eye and unique ideas. His photos have a lot of depth and his lighting is good, so the photos are extremely artistic. He is especially strong in black and white, so many of Thien Dang's photo collections also have that color tone" - Huong Giang emphasized.
She also sadly added that recently his old injury has gotten worse, causing him to become increasingly exhausted. Many artists prayed for him but the miracle did not happen.
