After two days of selection on August 9 and 10 at Ba Ria Stadium, the final round of "Japan Football Dream" found the two best Vietnamese players of the first season of "Japan Football Dream" project in Vietnam.

The project is a sports program organized with the goal of nurturing a generation of young players aged 13-14, contributing to improving community health and promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

Players participating in the final round are evaluated comprehensively according to 5 criteria: thinking, mental attitude, technique, physique and speed. This is the basis to fully reflect the qualities and level of readiness to become professional players in the future.

The official competition round is designed according to professional standards, divided into two rounds.

The morning was the first screening round to find outstanding candidates. Although the initial plan was to select 28 faces, but after the impressive performance of the young players, the organizing committee decided to give the opportunity to 33 young talents to move on to the next round.

After the competition, two players Le Hoang Tuan (from Dong Nai ) and Ha Tuan Kiet (from Phu Tho) excelled over other talented young players to represent Vietnam to participate in football training and exchange in Japan scheduled for March 2026.

Speaking after being selected, both players could not hide their joy.

"I feel happy and honored to be trusted by the coaches to participate in training in Japan. The upcoming experiences will help me be more determined to pursue my dream of becoming a professional football player," Le Hoang Tuan shared.

Also proud of his efforts, Ha Tuan Kiet said: "In the upcoming trip, I hope to express myself, exchange and learn from international friends. From now until the time I go to Japan, I will continue to maintain training and try my best."

Evaluating the project, Coach Dinh Hong Vinh said: "The Japan Football Dream Finals witnessed all sorts of emotions - from excitement, determination to regret. But above all, the children showed their determination to conquer the king of sports.

I believe that today's faces will be real bright spots for Vietnamese football in the future."
