Nearly 25 years attached to the podium, tirelessly on the journey of a ferryman "on the river of knowledge", Colonel Trinh Xuan Viet always considers teaching and scientific research not only as a core task to improve the quality of training and fostering political cadres but also a burning passion, urging him to constantly strive.

Along with his dedication to his profession, as Head of the Department, Colonel Trinh Xuan Viet always promotes the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, innovation, and arouses the will to strive and compete for the development of the collective. Over the years, under the leadership of Colonel Trinh Xuan Viet, the Department of Marxist-Leninist Political Economy has constantly innovated its methods, linking teaching with scientific research, and at the same time taking the lead in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation, affirming its prestige and position in the Academy. Many collectives and individuals in the department have achieved outstanding results and been awarded certificates of merit; the reputation and position of the department are increasingly affirmed.

With his constant efforts and dedication, Colonel Trinh Xuan Viet was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level for many consecutive years, the title of Emulation Fighter of the entire army in 2025 and many certificates of merit from the Ministry of National Defense and the Academy of Politics.
