A group of leaders at Phat Dat Corporation want to sell a large number of shares.

Three out of six members of the Board of Directors of Phat Dat Corporation have registered to sell a large number of shares. Among them, General Director Bui Quang Anh Vu intends to sell all of his PDR shares.

Recently, several senior executives at Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (Phat Dat Corporation; HoSE: PDR) informed the regulatory authorities about their intention to register to sell shares.

Accordingly, Mr. Bui Quang Anh Vu – a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Phat Dat Corporation – registered to sell all 1.4 million PDR shares he owns. The trading period is from January 9th to February 7th.

If the transaction is successful, Mr. Anh Vu expects to receive 14.3 billion VND. The reason the CEO of Phat Dat Corporation is selling all his PDR shares is to "address personal financial needs".

Along with Mr. Anh Vu, two Deputy General Directors of Phat Dat Corporation, Mr. Truong Ngoc Dung and Mr. Nguyen Khac Sinh, also registered to sell PDR shares at the same time, citing personal financial needs as the reason.

Specifically, Mr. Dung registered to sell 62,097 PDR shares through order matching or negotiated transactions. If the transaction is successful, Mr. Dung will receive nearly 621 million VND and will still own 100,000 PDR shares.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sinh currently owns 161,670 PDR shares and has registered to sell 61,670 shares. If he sells all the registered shares, Mr. Sinh expects to earn 616.7 million VND.

According to the consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2024, Phat Dat Corporation's net profit from business operations reached VND 55.3 billion. After tax, the company recorded a profit of VND 51.2 billion, a decrease of 49.64% compared to the same period last year.

Regarding the reasons for the decline in after-tax profit compared to the same period last year, Mr. Bui Quang Anh Vu stated that the overall economic situation remains challenging, including the real estate sector. Investment and development of real estate projects by Phat Dat Corporation have not been favorable.
