Arsenal have a long break before the match against PSG.

Arsenal's schedule has changed because Palace have to play the FA Cup semi-final on April 26. Thanks to that, the "Gunners" have 5 precious days off before facing PSG at home at Emirates Stadium. Coach Mikel Arteta admitted: "This is quite surprising, but it is a gift. Our squad is quite thin at the moment, so the break will be very beneficial."

Arsenal are likely to finish second in the Premier League for the third consecutive season, unable to maintain the championship race until the end. Currently, the "Gunners" are 3 points behind Liverpool with 5 rounds left in the season. Therefore, the Emirates team will soon look forward to the confrontation with PSG.

However, coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that he will not keep key players on the bench when Arsenal welcomes Crystal Palace in round 34 of the Premier League on the morning of April 24.

“We can't think that way,” he stressed. “When players are fit, ready and hungry to play, they have to play. They only play best when they maintain their competitive spirit and consistency.”

Arsenal have lost steam in the Premier League, but they are competing on equal terms with the giants of continental football this season. Last year, Arsenal fell to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. This season, they have done something no one expected.

Rarely, any team can defeat Real Madrid in both matches. However, Arsenal created that resounding victory. Notably, Arteta and his team won convincingly, crushing the "giant" of European football with a total score of 5-1.

In the qualifying round this season, Arsenal also easily defeated PSG with a score of 2-0.
