Long An - an attractive destination for ecotourism

Located at the gateway to the Mekong Delta, Long An has the rustic, peaceful beauty typical of the river delta, with rivers carrying heavy alluvium, bountiful rice fields and lush fruit orchards. Along with the diverse flora and fauna ecosystem, the precious Melaleuca forest ecosystem, concentrated in the Dong Thap Muoi region, is being exploited by the province to develop ecotourism, making Long An an attractive destination for this type of tourism.
