The Provincial Association of War Veterans supported 80 million VND for war veteran Nguyen Dinh Tam, Dai Dong Thanh commune, Thuan Thanh town to build a new house.

The provincial War Veterans Association Party Cell has 2 party cells with 10 party members, maintaining activities on the 3rd of every month. The Party Cell Executive Committee meets in advance to agree on important issues that need to be discussed and to solicit contributions from party members. Each month, the Party Cell selects and focuses on solving practical issues related to the assignment of cadres and party members to monitor and be in charge of fields and areas. In addition to regular activities, the Party Cell organizes 2 to 3 thematic activities each year on: Deploying war veteran models to ensure traffic safety and maintain security and order; building the "Comradely Love" fund; coordinating to support members in borrowing capital for economic development; developing new members; resolving policies and regimes for members...
The greatest success of the Provincial Veterans Association Party Cell in the 2020-2025 term is to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation, creativity and close ties between Party members. For each policy and resolution issued, the Party Cell assigns cadres and Party members to grasp the situation of public opinion, thoughts and aspirations of members, and then adjust them to suit the practical situation. That is an important basis for the Party Cell to perform well its role and responsibility in leading and directing cadres, Party members and Association members to respond to campaigns and emulation movements.
The innovation and improvement of the quality of Party cell activities in the Provincial Veterans Association always closely follows the grassroots in conjunction with the implementation of Directive 05 on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", creating a widespread influence among each cadre, party member and member through specific and practical actions. Many good models and creative ways of doing things have been maintained and developed such as: Supporting the construction of "Comradely Love" houses; visiting and giving gifts to people with meritorious services and members in difficult circumstances; giving gifts to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well; supporting people affected by storms and floods; supporting the COVID-19 prevention and control fund... Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Veterans Association has mobilized more than 15 billion VND to support social charity activities.
Deeply aware that eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is to improve the quality of life of members, every year, the Provincial Veterans Association propagates and mobilizes cadres and members to contribute to the "Comradely Love" fund; directs affiliated Associations to review, evaluate, and select member families with housing difficulties, ensuring fairness, the right subjects, and including them in the targets for new construction and timely repair. From 2020 to present, the Provincial Veterans Association has supported more than 1 billion VND to build and repair 21 "Comradely Love" houses.
Veteran Nguyen Dinh Tam, born in 1955 in Dong Van village, Dai Dong Thanh commune, Thuan Thanh town, participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Returning to normal life, he strictly followed the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; actively participated in local campaigns and emulation movements. However, he and his wife were often sick and lived in a dilapidated house. Sharing the difficulties, the Provincial Veterans Association supported him with 80 million VND, and the Thuan Thanh Town Veterans Association supported 10 million VND to build a new house of more than 100 square meters. Veteran Nguyen Dinh Tam was moved: "With the attention and support of the Veterans Association at all levels, and the regular encouragement, visits, and help from my comrades to build a new house, I feel secure and no longer worry when it rains heavily or the wind is strong."
Improving the quality of Party activities is an important driving force for the Provincial War Veterans Association Party Cell to promote its role as a Party organization, create consensus among cadres and members, and bring about positive results in building a clean and strong Party and Association. Every year, the branch achieves the title of completing its tasks well or better; 100% of Party members complete their tasks well, of which 20% of Party members complete their tasks excellently.
