Luyen welcomed Mrs. Tinh to live with her.

Review of "Life is still beautiful" episode 28 aired on the evening of June 5th revealed the scene where Nghia (Thanh Duong) was surprised to meet Mrs. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) at the boarding house because he thought she had returned to her hometown and cut off her relationship with Luyen (Thanh Huong).

Luyen chose to stay with Mrs. Tinh despite Nghia's objection.

"I went back to my hometown but my close friend just passed away. I went to burn incense for her and then went back," Ms. Tinh explained.

Seeing Mrs. Tinh in a difficult position, Luyen immediately spoke up: "Mom, just stay here, don't go anywhere, don't need to hide anymore. Brother Nghia, I brought her here, I want her to stay with me." It seemed that reason could not overcome her heart, Luyen chose to stay with Mrs. Tinh instead of chasing after the happiness and fulfillment that Nghia promised to bring.

In another development, Luyen confided to her ex-mother-in-law: "Living with you is the best, you don't have to think about anything, just live as you are." Hearing her daughter-in-law's confession, Mrs. Tinh burst into tears and said: "If I'm not destined to be your mother-in-law, then let me adopt you as my adopted daughter...".

Mrs. Tinh hopes to adopt Luyen as her adopted daughter.

Mafia turns to debt collection

Also in "Life is still beautiful" episode 28, Thach (Viet Hoang) was found by a loan shark gang who came to threaten him and demanded money: "You're not planning to run away, are you? You think you're faster than us?".

Surrounded by gangsters demanding debt, Thach was extremely scared: "I'm not running away, I asked you guys for an extension. I will pay."

Thach was threatened by gangsters and asked to pay debt.

Guessing that Thach could not bear the debt, the creditor turned to Thach's father, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai). However, Luu thought the phone call was a scam because he did not think his son would be in debt.

Will Luu help his son pay off his debt to the mafia? How will Nghia react to Luyen's decision? The answer will be in episode 28 of the drama "Life is still beautiful" airing at 9:40 p.m. on June 5.
