The review of episode 28 of "Life Is Still Beautiful," which aired on the evening of June 5th, revealed a scene where Nghia (Thanh Duong) is surprised to encounter Mrs. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) at the boarding house, believing she had returned to her hometown and cut off contact with Luyen (Thanh Huong).

Luyen chose to live with Mrs. Tinh despite Nghia's objections.

"I've already gone back to my hometown, but a close friend of mine recently passed away, so I went to light incense for her and then I'll go back," Ms. Tinh explained.

Seeing Mrs. Tinh's awkwardness, Luyen spoke up: "Mom, just stay here, don't go anywhere, no need to hide anymore. Nghia, I'm the one who brought Grandma here, I want her to stay with me." It seemed reason had succumbed to emotion; Luyen chose to stay with Mrs. Tinh instead of chasing the happiness and comfort that Nghia promised.

In another development, Luyen confided in her former mother-in-law: "Living with you is the best, I don't have to worry about anything, I just live as it is." Hearing her daughter-in-law's confession, Mrs. Tinh shed tears and said: "Since I didn't have the chance to be your mother-in-law, let me adopt you as my foster daughter..."

The gangsters shifted their focus to collecting debts from Liu.

Also in episode 28 of "Life Is Still Beautiful," Thach (Viet Hoang) is threatened by loan sharks who come to his house to demand money: "You're not planning to run away, are you? Do you think you're faster than us?"

Surrounded by gangsters demanding payment, Thach was terrified: "I'm not running away, I already asked you guys for an extension. I will pay."

Assuming that Thach couldn't handle the debt, the creditor shifted his focus to Thach's father, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai). However, Luu believed the phone call was a scam, as he didn't think his son would get into debt.

Will Luu help her son pay off his debts to the gangsters? How will Nghia react to Luyen's decision? The answer will be revealed in episode 28 of the drama "Life Is Still Beautiful," airing at 9:40 PM on June 5th.
