Responding to the comment, LyLy explained: “Since this is a constructive comment, I wanted to add a few words. AQuay's (Luong Nghiem Huy) main role in the movie 'Tho Oi' is to work with Xin to develop the script. In the movie, AQuay's role is to deliver beer to Nhat Ha, appearing briefly for about 2 seconds. That's why I often tease AQuay like that. And this teasing can't be used for Huong, Quoc Anh, or Phao, Dam… not even the maid. I'm an introvert, not crazy.”
The singer added that currently, her mind is solely focused on her work and positive energy. She only explains things to those who are willing to listen and understand.
Previously, LyLy became the center of controversy after appearing on a show with Van Mai Huong, Ali Hoang Duong, Phap Kieu, and Luong Nghiem Huy.
During the program, Luong Nghiem Huy shared his perspective on choosing roles. The actor said that for characters with short screen time, he usually prioritizes roles with a distinctive feature. He gave the example of his character in the project "Rabbit, Oh! ", who had the fewest lines.
After listening to his sharing, LyLy unexpectedly asked, "But actually, with your role, do you think you've made a significant impact yet?"
The singer's statement surprised everyone in the studio, creating an awkward atmosphere. In response, Luong Nghiem Huy humorously said, "This show should only have five people, six isn't good feng shui. The show's title is 'Cooking the Wolf,' but that's not the main energy of the show. That was harsh on you."
The video capturing the interaction between LyLy and Luong Nghiem Huy was subsequently shared widely on social media, attracting many mixed reactions.
Some viewers felt that LyLy's question lacked tact and could easily put the other person in an awkward situation. Many commented that the singer was tactless and didn't show the necessary respect for her senior colleague. However, others argued that LyLy was simply asking a question to elicit information from the conversation and not intending to attack anyone.
Furthermore, when the controversy arose, LyLy commented on the incident: "Are you guys being negative or something? Close friends tease each other. If we weren't close, I wouldn't have teased them. You're always overthinking other people's feelings."
Lyly (real name: Nguyen Hoang Ly) was born in 1996 in Da Nang . Besides her singing career, she ventured into acting, starring in Tran Thanh's film "Tho Oi" (Oh, Little Rabbit ).
