That was emphasized by comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department at the program "Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024".
The program was held on the evening of October 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, chaired by the Central Propaganda Department, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Vietnam Television. The program "Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024" has the theme "Aspiration - Pioneer".
Attending the Program were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Nguyen Van Duoc, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province; Phan Van Mai, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; together with representatives of central departments, ministries and branches; leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Committee and People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City; standing members of the Southern provincial and municipal Party Committees; leaders of the Southern provincial and municipal Party Committees' Propaganda Department and especially 17 typical examples and 12 typical models.
Implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in depth
Speaking at the Program, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai shared that Ho Chi Minh City is honored to be chosen by the Central Government as the place to organize the Program "Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024". This is a good opportunity for the City to learn from typical examples and localities about good practices in studying and following the beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

Comrade Phan Van Mai emphasized: “Ho Chi Minh City is honored to be named after beloved Uncle Ho, the place where Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the country. The city is always deeply aware of and seriously and effectively implements the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. This has become a tradition and spread to the awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people of the city.”
Comrade Phan Van Mai said that in the period of 2021 - 2024, Ho Chi Minh City has honored more than 1,390 typical examples at the city level and more than 16,900 typical examples at the district and grassroots levels. Of which, there are 326 new models, good practices; 247 breakthrough and creative contents. At the same time, the City also deployed the construction of Ho Chi Minh cultural space so that Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style and heritage are always present, becoming the spiritual assets and typical cultural values of cadres, party members and people of the City named after Uncle Ho.
According to comrade Phan Van Mai, in 2025, together with the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Ho Chi Minh City will continue to carry out the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in a more systematic and in-depth manner, associated with the construction of Ho Chi Minh's cultural space and practical emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; contributing to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City so that the City can develop for the whole country and with the whole country.

Speaking at the Program, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, commended the collectives, individuals, and typical models honored in the Program. “The images of mothers and sisters working hard on sewing machines, sending love to border soldiers, islanders, and disadvantaged people. The digital transformation models, applying biotechnology to develop sustainable agriculture; the administrative reform and volunteer models in the Program all bring us deep impressions... These are brave people, daring to face difficulties and challenges to find new directions, new ways of doing things, taking drastic actions to develop, leading the collective in the journey to explore new heights, creating good values for society”, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized that the spirit of Pioneering - Innovation - Creativity runs through Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, illuminating us on the path of innovation, integration and development. The Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress repeatedly emphasized the need to promote the spirit of "dare to think, dare to speak, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate and create, dare to face difficulties and challenges and be resolute in action for the common good".
Sharing the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do in many localities across the country, the people of Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces and cities have achieved many important results, creating new momentum, new motivation, new breakthroughs in many fields, especially in scientific research, labor, production...
To successfully achieve the goal of rapid and sustainable national development, maintain peace and stability, and firmly protect the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, we need to thoroughly grasp, creatively apply and promote the great values in Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; must be imbued with the principle: Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are the spiritual foundation and compass for the cause of innovation and national development and in the work of Party building, rectification and Party culture building; are the basis of worldview and scientific methodology to determine and implement the system of national values, the system of cultural values, the system of family values, the standards of Vietnamese people and the ethical standards of cadres and Party members in the new situation.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to promote the achieved results, strictly implement the Party's resolutions and conclusions on the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system; resolutely prevent, repel and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded in politics, ideology, morality and lifestyle; effectively implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the 13th Politburo, and move towards summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle", the Politburo's Regulations on setting examples and regulations on ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new situation.
At the same time, continue to promote the implementation and innovation of the content and methods of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in every action and every development policy; create breakthroughs in 3 contents: Studying Uncle Ho - Following Uncle Ho - Setting an example for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life. The program "Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024" is a special political and artistic exchange program, bringing deep and touching impressions through stories and reports about typical examples and models that always uphold the spirit, will, determination, pioneering aspiration, self-reliance, self-improvement, and rising up in life, with creative and effective ways, bringing practical values to the community and society, creating a strong ripple effect on the aspiration to build a prosperous, civilized and happy homeland and country. The program honored 17 typical examples and 12 models who are cadres, party members, soldiers, doctors, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, workers, farmers and even simple but noble examples in daily life from the provinces and cities in the Southern region. Through specific and creative actions, the efforts of individuals, agencies and units have contributed to spreading positive things, pushing back negative things, taking the beautiful, eliminating the ugly, affirming the value and vitality of Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and style with the revolutionary cause of the Party and the sustainable development of the country.
