Launching OCOP product introduction and sales point

(HGO) - On the morning of June 28, the Department of Industry and Trade of the province held a handover ceremony for the OCOP product introduction and sales point at the Thuan Phat OCOP agricultural products store, Le Qui Don street, Ward III, Vi Thanh city. This is the second OCOP point launched according to the plan to build an OCOP sales point system in the province by 2025.

Representative of the Department of Industry and Trade signed the handover minutes to the owner of OCOP Thuan Phat Agricultural Products Store.

The OCOP point at Thuan Phat OCOP Agricultural Products Store displays, introduces and sells OCOP-standard products of Hau Giang province such as boneless snakehead fish, honey, wild bitter melon tea, Ut Tay traditional wine, etc. In addition, the store also connects with many OCOP products from other provinces and cities. This is a trusted place for tourists and consumers inside and outside the province to access typical agricultural products that meet quality standards and have clear traceability.

The construction and handover of OCOP product introduction points is one of the key activities to implement the One Commune One Product program associated with regional advantages, enhancing the competitiveness of local products. According to the plan, Hau Giang will build two OCOP points this year, with a total budget of 600 million VND from the central and local budgets.
