The Lunar New Year gift-giving program took place in a warm atmosphere.
In the joyful atmosphere celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party and preparing for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the program presented 100 gift packages to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in Dat Mui commune.
Each gift package, worth 3 million VND, includes a 1,000-liter plastic water tank, a Tet gift basket, and 1 million VND in cash. The total cost of this gift-giving event is 300 million VND, sponsored by Saigon Newport Corporation.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Major Thieu Minh Tu, Deputy Director of the Tan Cang Mekong Delta Branch, said: “Although the gifts are not of great value, they represent the affection of the entire staff and workers of Brigade 20 to the people in this sacred southernmost region. We hope to spread the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers on the economic front and the characteristic culture of compassion of our unit.”
It is known that social welfare is a highlight of Saigon Newport Corporation. On average, the company spends more than 100 billion VND annually on activities such as building houses for war veterans and their families; providing lifelong support to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and sponsoring orphaned fishermen's children; supporting the new rural development movement; giving gifts, supporting medical examinations and treatment, and caring for policy beneficiary families in 18 provinces and cities.
