With a spirit of profound sharing, the program is being implemented in Cam Pha ward with many effective methods. The Women's Union of the ward has coordinated with the Women's Association of the Ward Police, Khe Sim Company - 19th Army Corps, and the Assessment Center - 19th Army Corps to sponsor children with particularly difficult circumstances in the area.

From the beginning of 2026 to the present, through a review process, the locality has identified 6 cases requiring long-term support. These children all face difficult circumstances such as: being fatherless, lacking maternal care, living with elderly or disabled grandparents, or having extremely difficult family economic conditions. Based on this, the relevant organizations have sponsored 5 children with a support level of 6 million VND/child/year, totaling 30 million VND. In parallel with material support, the organizations have also committed to long-term companionship through regular visits, encouragement, helping the children stabilize their mental state, and instilling confidence to strive for success in their studies and lives.
Beyond simply fulfilling social responsibility, the program also demonstrates the spirit of sharing and compassion of female officials, members, police officers, and businesses towards the community. Through this, it contributes to building a loving living environment where no one is left behind.
In Hong Gai ward, thanks to social mobilization funds, the "Turning Waste into Money" model, along with the joint efforts of charitable organizations and individuals, has delivered many meaningful gifts to underprivileged children. More importantly, the "Godmothers" regularly visit and encourage them, becoming a loving support system that helps the children gain confidence and strength to overcome their circumstances.

One of the outstanding achievements of the "Godmother" program in Quang Ninh is the activity of the Women's Association of the Economic Security Department of the Provincial Police. With the spirit of "respecting the people, being close to the people, and being there for the people when they need the police," female officers and soldiers have become special "godmothers," silently supporting children in remote, mountainous, and border areas facing many difficulties. The Women's Association of the Economic Security Department of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police considers the "Godmother" program not simply a charitable activity, but also a responsibility, a "command from the heart" of each officer and member.
Since 2024, the unit has sponsored three children in Dam Ha commune. Each child faces different difficult circumstances, but they all share a common spirit of overcoming hardship, being well-behaved, and having a strong will to succeed. To maintain long-term support, every month, the unit's staff and members voluntarily contribute a portion of their salaries and association funds to support the children's living expenses. On holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), International Children's Day, or at the beginning of the new school year, the women personally visit the children's homes to offer gifts and encouragement to help them study hard.
New clothes, a bicycle to get to school, or books smelling of fresh paper—these may not be of great material value, but they contain genuine love and care. They also serve as encouragement, helping children feel more confident and aware that warm arms are always there to support them on their journey to adulthood.
Through concrete actions, the "Godmother" program has been strongly spreading the spirit of compassion in the community. The program has also demonstrated the role of the Women's Union in social welfare work, contributing to building the image of Quang Ninh women as kind, compassionate, and responsible to the community. What is particularly valuable is that the program is increasingly receiving positive support from agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists. Beyond material support, many organizations also dedicate time to caring for and accompanying disadvantaged children, giving them more confidence and motivation to strive for a better future.
