For me, Phu Yen Newspaper is not just a mouthpiece, but also a mirror reflecting the multifaceted rhythm of life in my homeland, a bridge connecting the past and present, and a warm, sharing companion.
I am a loyal reader of Phu Yen Newspaper. Accessing Phu Yen Online is very easy and convenient, so I read it regularly. Besides the sections on Politics , Economics, Culture - Society, etc., I also really love Phu Yen - Land and People. Due to my interests and the nature of my work, I am more interested in the arts, culture, landmarks, and historical figures associated with the land of Phu Yen. Reading articles such as: " Looking back at Phu Yen's history through administrative boundary adjustments " (Tran Thanh Hung), " The golden age of Tho Lo and Ma Du " (Tran Quoi), " The pillars of Phu Yen from an urban studies perspective " (Architect Hoang Xuan Thuong), " Youth continuing the story of peace " (Ha My)... helps me understand more about the history, culture, and people..., and makes me love my homeland even more. I love the Literature, Feature, and Essay section because it allows me to immerse myself in literary works, not only by artists from Phu Yen but also by many famous poets and writers, as well as contributors from near and far. This contributes to the rich, diverse, and distinctive character of the weekend issue.
I sincerely thank Phu Yen Newspaper for always being a bridge connecting joyful shores, a trusted companion of generations of readers. My heart is filled with emotion; thinking of Phu Yen Newspaper, I keep thinking of the Ba River in my hometown. Though its banks may erode and build up, though its course may change, the river's alluvial soil still seeps into the old land, nourishing the crops to come...
Recently, I read an interview with Mr. Pham Doan Anh Kiet, Executive Vice Chairman of the Phu Yen Journalists Association, titled " Phu Yen Journalism - A Century of Struggle and Pride " (Ha My), which gave me a clear understanding of the history of revolutionary journalism in the province. The other day, I read the article " 193 - Days Not So Distant " (Huynh Hieu) and was deeply moved. Number 193 Tran Hung Dao Street, a place I often passed by when I was young, was where the first editorial office of Phu Yen Newspaper was located after the province's re-establishment in July 1989. During those difficult times, the office was short on personnel, cramped, lacked resources, and had unreliable electricity... but it was valuable for the intelligence, dynamism, humor, optimism, and dedication of the journalists. In 1996, the new, spacious and impressive editorial office at 62 Le Duan Street became a beloved home for the staff of Phu Yen Newspaper. Looking back at articles in Phu Yen Newspaper such as: " Phu Yen Newspaper in the early days of its re-establishment " (Phan Thanh), " The founder of the first revolutionary newspaper of Phu Yen province " (Phan Thanh), " Journalist Minh Nguyet - Drops of sweat and smiles " (Yen Lan), the more I read, the more I understand, admire, and feel proud of the generations of journalists in Phu Yen.
To produce timely, informative, and engaging newspapers, the collective intelligence and dedication of the entire editorial team are essential. There are countless hours of sweat and silent smiles behind every page. From 1946, when the first revolutionary newspaper in Phu Yen was founded, to the present day—79 years filled with ups and downs and changes—the journalists of Phu Yen have, under any circumstances, wholeheartedly devoted themselves to the development of Phu Yen Newspaper, ensuring it lives up to its reputation as the official mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province.
I am delighted to be collaborating with Phu Yen Newspaper. I am eager to write, but my abilities are limited; some articles meet the requirements, while others are not so good. Each time I submit an article, I always receive warm and sincere encouragement. I am secretly grateful to the editors for their corrections, which help to make my writing more polished. Every time I receive a complimentary copy of the newspaper, I cherish it and am silently grateful to the editorial office. How can I possibly express all the kindness I have shown to Phu Yen Newspaper!
On the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21st, we wish all journalists good health, happiness, and that they always possess " sharp eyes, pure hearts, and incisive pens ," and that they maintain their passion to continue writing pages of newspaper articles rich in love for their homeland and responsibility to life.
