Merger of administrative units: Unity, adaptation, and innovation

On the morning of June 30th, a large number of officials, Party members, and people in Krong Nang commune gathered at the Krong Nang Commune Party Committee headquarters to receive a special event and witness a new administrative turning point for the locality.

Although the ceremony to announce the Resolutions and Decisions of the Central and local authorities on the merger of provincial and commune-level administrative units, the termination of district-level administrative unit operations, the establishment of Party organizations, and the appointment of Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the provincial, commune, and ward levels was scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM, Mr. Y Bhul Mlô, a respected figure from Mrưm hamlet (formerly Ea Hồ commune), was already present at the Krông Năng commune Party Committee headquarters.

Mr. Y Bhul expressed: “Today I feel very happy and excited. The announcement of the administrative unit merger decision marks an important step in the organization of the country's apparatus. As a respected figure in the village, I have strived to disseminate the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, making a significant contribution to raising the awareness of cadres, Party members, and ethnic minority people. Thanks to this, when the decision to establish the new Krông Năng commune was made, the villagers enthusiastically supported it and placed high expectations on this change. We hope that after the new government takes office, the officials will be dedicated to serving the people, listening to their needs, and fostering trust and unity in building a more prosperous and beautiful Krông Năng homeland.”

In a solemn yet joyful and warm atmosphere, heartfelt handshakes and eyes shining with confidence demonstrated the consensus and determination of the local government and people.

According to Resolution No. 1660/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in Dak Lak province in 2025, Krong Nang commune was established based on the rearrangement of the entire natural area and population of Krong Nang town, Phu Loc commune, and Ea Ho commune. Now, the name Krong Nang officially becomes a new administrative address, encompassing memories and carrying the hopes of the people.

As a young official, Mr. Y Rô Ya Niê, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Krông Năng commune, shared that this is a historic moment where all officials, the government, and people of all ethnic groups in Krông Năng commune feel the renewal in the leadership and guidance of the Party and the State, contributing to the country's further development. As a young official, I feel this is both an opportunity and a new challenge for me to continue to develop my abilities and contribute to building a prosperous, civilized, cultured, and heroic nation.

According to Mr. Y Rô Ya Niê, initially, people might have been a little unfamiliar with the administrative unit merger. However, thanks to digital transformation and the digital platforms deployed by the State in recent times, handling administrative procedures has become increasingly convenient and accessible. He hopes that not only Krông Năng commune but all localities in the province will develop comprehensively in terms of economy , society, national defense, and security.

At the ceremony, former Secretary of the Krong Nang District Party Committee, Nguyen Thi Thu An, announced and presented the Decisions on the establishment of the Krong Nang Commune Party Committee and the key leadership positions of Krong Nang Commune.

"In implementing the major policy of the Central Government and the province on reorganizing administrative units at all levels to streamline the apparatus and improve operational efficiency, Krong Nang commune, along with Phu Xuan, Dlie Ya, and Tam Giang communes (formerly part of Krong Nang district), officially commenced operations on July 1, 2025. This is an important milestone, marking a new stage of development with higher demands, greater dynamism, and more professionalism. We trust and expect that all cadres, Party members, civil servants, and workers of Krong Nang commune will continue the glorious tradition, constantly strengthening the great national unity, building a clean and strong Party organization, and an honest government that serves the people," emphasized Nguyen Thi Thu An, former Secretary of the Krong Nang District Party Committee.
