Meo Vac attractive tourist destination

In recent times, Meo Vac district (Ha Giang province) has been constantly striving to implement many solutions to develop tourism , exploiting the potential and advantages of the locality to the fullest. Activities from upgrading infrastructure to organizing cultural events have brought many positive results, contributing to making Meo Vac an unmissable destination on the national tourism map.

This year, the district set a target of welcoming 542,000 visitors. Up to now, despite being affected by natural disasters and being in the process of infrastructure renovation, the number of visitors to the district has reached about 490,064, equivalent to 90.42% of the target. The estimated annual revenue is 318.5 billion VND, reaching 96.18% of the plan. To attract tourists, the district has implemented strong promotional activities on mass media and social networks. Tourist attractions such as Giay Ethnic Cultural Village in Tat Nga village, Lo Lo Ethnic Cultural Village in Sang Pa A village..., attract many visitors to visit and experience with a friendly and hospitable image. In addition, Meo Vac also organizes many unique cultural events such as Phong Luu Khau Vai Market Festival, Lo Lo Ethnic Cultural Festival and folk art programs at Meo Vac town night market. These activities not only help tourists understand more about the unique culture of ethnic minorities but also create motivation to promote local tourism.

The district focuses on developing rich and attractive tourism products. Community and ecological tourism products at Nho Que I hydroelectric reservoir have created a highlight for tourists. At the same time, adventure and sports tours are also promoted. Meo Vac also invests in building ecological resorts, creating impressive check-in points for tourists at Tu San - Ma Pi Leng alley, along with typical cultural villages. These efforts help create a rich tourism ecosystem, meeting the diverse needs of visitors.

Despite many achievements, the district's tourism development still faces many challenges. The tourism infrastructure is not yet synchronized, severe weather causes landslides and affects tourists' travel. In addition, the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values ​​still requires the cooperation of the local community. In order to continue improving service quality and sustainable development, the district has set out a plan for 2025 with many important orientations. In particular, it focuses on raising people's awareness of tourism, building the image of a "safe, friendly, hospitable" destination and promoting investment in typical tourism products.

The district will continue to prioritize upgrading infrastructure and improving service quality to bring visitors authentic and memorable experiences of Meo Vac's nature and people. To achieve such results, the district has focused on improving transport infrastructure, organizing many cultural activities and unique festivals, and focusing on promoting and introducing the image of Meo Vac to domestic and foreign tourists.”

The district is not only a destination with majestic natural landscapes, but also a place where tourists can experience and explore the unique traditional culture of ethnic minorities. In 2025, Meo Vac will continue to improve the quality of tourism products, build community cultural villages and promote its image.
