According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:00 AM Vietnam time today was $2,933.39 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is down 0.07% compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,610 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 90.5 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 1.4 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices fell after hitting record highs earlier on Wednesday as the US dollar strengthened, while the latest tariff threats from US President Donald Trump unnerved investors.
Spot gold fell 0.2% to $2,928.49 an ounce as of 2:19 p.m. ET (19:19 GMT). Gold bullion had surged to an all-time high of $2,946.85 an ounce earlier in the session.
US gold futures fell 0.4% to $2,936.10.
The dollar index (.DXY) rose 0.1% against its competitors, making gold more expensive for holders of other currencies.
Paul Wong, market strategist at Sprott Asset Management, said: "We are in an unusually high state of uncertainty... the catalysts are tariffs and trade negotiations or ongoing threats around the world," which is supporting prices.
On Tuesday, Trump said he intended to impose tariffs on automobiles "at around 25%", along with similar tariffs on semiconductor and pharmaceutical imports.
This move follows his recent actions earlier this month to impose a 10% tariff on imports from China and a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum.
Gold bullion is considered a hedge against geopolitical risks and inflation, but rising interest rates are reducing its appeal as a non-yielding asset.
Fed officials remain uncertain about the impact of tariffs on inflation.
According to LSEG data, traders are currently expecting at least one 25 basis point interest rate cut, with a 44% probability of another cut in December.

Han Tan, chief market analyst at Exinity Group, said: "While the imposition of tariffs may hurt industrial demand for silver, silver prices could still rise higher from a valuation perspective."
