According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 2,933.39 USD/ounce. Today's gold price decreased by 0.07% compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,610 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 90.5 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 1.4 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices fell after hitting a record high early on Wednesday as the dollar rose, while U.S. President Donald Trump's latest tariff threats kept investors on edge.
Spot gold fell 0.2% to $2,928.49 an ounce as of 2:19 p.m. ET (19:19 GMT). Bullion surged to an all-time high of $2,946.85 an ounce earlier in the session.
US gold futures fell 0.4% to $2,936.10.
The dollar index (.DXY) rose 0.1% against its rivals, making gold more expensive for holders of other currencies.
“We are in an unusually heightened state of uncertainty… the catalyst is tariffs and ongoing trade negotiations or threats around the world,” which is supporting prices, said Paul Wong, market strategist at Sprott Asset Management.
On Tuesday, Trump said he intended to impose auto tariffs “at about 25%,” along with similar tariffs on imports of semiconductors and pharmaceuticals.
The move follows his recent move to impose a 10% tariff on imports from China and a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum earlier this month.
Gold bullion is seen as a hedge against geopolitical risks and inflation, but rising interest rates reduce the appeal of bullion as a non-yielding asset.
Fed officials remain uncertain about the impact of tariffs on inflation.
Traders now expect at least one 25 basis point rate cut and there is a 44% chance of a further cut in December, according to LSEG data.
