Since taking over at MU again earlier this year, manager Carrick has recorded 6 wins and 1 draw in 7 matches. Even during less-than-convincing performances, the Red Devils still give the impression that they can stage a comeback at any time. This was evident in their 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace in the 28th round of the Premier League on March 1st.
Confidence, fighting spirit, and belief in victory are becoming the new hallmarks of the Manchester team under the leadership of the young strategist.
However, the real challenge lies ahead. The next five Premier League fixtures are expected to be very difficult, with MU facing Newcastle (March 4th), Aston Villa (March 15th), Bournemouth (March 20th), Leeds (April 11th), and concluding the run with an away match against Chelsea (April 18th). These are all opponents capable of ending MU's unbeaten run.

Commenting on Manchester United's performance, former player Gary Neville admitted: "Their current run of form is surprising to everyone. Even Carrick could hardly dream of this. He has to maintain it until the end of the season. Matches like this always carry the risk of slipping up."
Football is unforgiving. When the team is winning, every decision is praised. But just a few disappointing results, and pressure immediately builds. Carrick hasn't truly experienced a real "storm" since taking over at MU. And it is precisely these difficult moments that are the most accurate measure of the former Red Devils midfielder's character.
The unbeaten run could last a few more games, or even until the end of the season. But more importantly, the question is whether Carrick has the ability to help MU maintain long-term stability.
