MU has lost all hope of signing a "big-name" player.

Specifically, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has five demands for Manchester United's transfer policy this summer. First, United will only sign players aged 25 or under; players over 25 will not be considered, regardless of their outstanding performances.

Secondly, due to cost-cutting measures, MU will not be spending money on superstars. "Top-tier" players like Mbappe will certainly not be targets for the Red Devils in the summer of 2024.

Thirdly, Manchester United's playing style for next season will have to be approved by technical director Jason Wilcox before it can be implemented, regardless of who is directly in charge of coaching.

Fourth, MU will receive information about positions that need strengthening in the squad. The club's management will bring in players depending on the position, rather than buying players based solely on the manager's suggestions.

Finally, the MU management will select three suitable players for the vacant position, from which the manager will choose the most suitable name to add to the squad.

With the above criteria, MU will not be able to spend money on superstars, and fans hoping for a "breakthrough" transfer window for MU in Summer 2024 are already disappointed.
