According to the December 25th report on labor, wages, bonuses, and labor relations in businesses in Long An province by the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (LĐTB&XH), the consolidated report on New Year's Day 2024 bonuses from 603 businesses with over 50,000 employees shows that the average bonus is 1 million VND/person; the highest is 6 million VND/person; and the lowest is 100,000 VND/person (for employees working less than 12 months).

Regarding Lunar New Year bonuses, the province has received reports from 825 businesses (with over 105,000 employees). The highest bonus reached 5.686 billion VND per person, belonging to a foreign-invested enterprise. The average bonus at this enterprise was 7 million VND per person, while the lowest was 500,000 VND per person (for employees with less than 12 months of service).

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Long An province, as of December 20th, 1,031 businesses in the province had reported their operations, employing over 133,000 workers. The average income in 2023 reached 8.3 million VND/month, an increase of 1.22% compared to 2022.

Specifically, enterprises wholly owned by the State achieved an average monthly income of 20 million VND; joint-stock companies with controlling state capital achieved 8.7 million VND; private enterprises achieved 7.8 million VND; and enterprises with foreign investment achieved 8.3 million VND per month.

The highest salaries paid to employees of companies wholly owned by the State are 59.3 million VND; for joint-stock companies with controlling state capital contributions, it is 27 million VND per person; for private enterprises, it is 76 million VND per person; and for foreign-invested enterprises, it is 441 million VND per person.

Previously, the Da Nang Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also announced the Lunar New Year bonus for 2024, with the highest amount exceeding 1 billion VND. This bonus amount belongs to the private enterprise sector.
