What is the salary of People's Army officers in 2023?
The salary table for military officers according to military ranks is implemented according to Section 1, Table 6 issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP. The current basic salary is 1,490,000 VND/month (according to Decree No. 38/2019/ND-CP).
Recently, on November 11, 2022, the National Assembly passed a Resolution on the state budget estimate for 2023. Accordingly, from July 1, 2023, the basic salary for cadres, civil servants and public employees will be increased to VND 1,800,000/month - equivalent to an increase of 20.8% compared to the current basic salary.
Therefore, the salary of military officers from July 1, 2023 will increase compared to the old regulations. The basic salary from July 1, 2023 is 1,800,000 VND/month.
