Enhance underwater search and rescue skills.

From May 11th to 19th, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department organized a training course to improve swimming, diving, search and rescue skills underwater, and motorboat operation for 38 officers and soldiers, including leaders and commanders of professional teams, firefighting and rescue forces, and officers directly operating specialized boats and canoes.

During the training course, officers and soldiers were equipped with knowledge of inland waterway traffic laws; skills in using, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting motorboats, engines, and specialized equipment for underwater search and rescue operations. They were also instructed on techniques for identifying currents and underwater obstacles, methods for organizing search and rescue operations, and safety measures during mission execution.

In the practical part, participants were trained in long-distance rescue swimming skills, approaching and bringing victims safely to shore; diving techniques for searching for victims and evidence underwater; using diving equipment, air tanks, and clean air refueling machines, as well as skills in operating motorboats in bad weather conditions, navigating waves, and handling complex situations on rivers and waterways...

Based on the assessment, 100% of the participating officers and soldiers met the requirements and fully fulfilled the criteria set out in the plan. The training contributed to improving the professional skills, courage, coordination capabilities, and ability to handle real-life situations for the Fire and Rescue Police force, meeting the requirements of ensuring the safety of people's lives and property in all situations.
