During the period of 2025-2026, Hanoi plans to comprehensively upgrade this platform to better meet the growing needs of citizens and businesses. The upgrade plan includes optimizing the user interface, adding intelligent search functions, supporting multiple languages, and integrating AI virtual assistants to help answer questions. The platform will also continue to expand its connections with national and local databases, ensuring that information is shared and updated synchronously. This will not only improve the speed of processing procedures but also enhance the accuracy of public service delivery.
Developing full-process online public services is a major goal of the upgrade phase. Services such as land use right certificates, construction permits, and marriage registration will be implemented fully, allowing citizens to complete the entire process online without having to visit administrative agencies in person. In addition, the city also plans to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and big data into the platform to analyze and predict citizen needs, thereby providing more appropriate and effective solutions.
This upgrade not only brings clear benefits to citizens but also facilitates businesses. For citizens, iHanoi helps minimize travel time and costs when carrying out administrative procedures, while providing conveniences such as traffic information lookup, online medical appointment registration, and receiving notifications from the government. For businesses, this platform effectively supports activities such as business registration, license applications, and fulfilling legal obligations, helping to reduce costs and increase competitiveness.
Furthermore, iHanoi is not just a supporting tool but also plays a strategic role in enhancing state management capacity. The city needs to continue investing in technological infrastructure, improving the capacity of system operators, and establishing a clear legal framework to protect user data.
