There are five cases of citizens registering to submit petitions to the Provincial Party Secretary, including Mr. Hoang Xuan Lam, residing in Gio Linh town, Gio Linh district; Mr. Le Hong Lai, residing in Quarter 2, Gio Linh town, Gio Linh district; Ms. Le Thi Hanh, residing in Tram Ly village, Hai Quy commune, Hai Lang district; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lap, residing in Ward 1, Quang Tri town; and Mr. Nguyen Manh Loc, residing in Ward 1, Dong Ha city. All petitions relate to land issues such as supplementary land allocation, land dispute resolution, compensation, land clearance, and enforcement of land-related judgments.
Upon review, the five cases mentioned above do not fall under the category of citizen reception by the Provincial Party Secretary as stipulated in Regulation No. 11-QĐi/TW of the Politburo and Regulation No. 33-QĐi/TU of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee. These cases had already been received by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at previous regular citizen reception sessions and have been assigned to relevant agencies and localities for verification and handling.
| According to Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW of the Politburo and Regulation No. 33-QDi/TU of the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, the content of the Provincial Party Secretary's citizen reception includes receiving feedback, suggestions, complaints, and denunciations from the people regarding manifestations of moral and lifestyle degradation and "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres and Party members; other feedback, suggestions, complaints, and denunciations, especially those involving large numbers of people, complex and protracted cases affecting security and order that have been resolved by the government or relevant agencies within their authority, but the people are still not satisfied with the resolution. |
However, to ensure citizens' rights, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quang Tung requested that departments and agencies report in detail on the content of the case and the handling process. In addition, he urged relevant agencies to enhance their responsibility and review the process of handling specific petitions to ensure citizens' rights are protected. He also requested the Department of Justice to direct the Lawyers' Association and the Provincial Legal Aid Center to support citizens in exercising their rights to petition, complain, and denounce, thereby contributing to the protection of citizens' rights.
