Russian officials said more than 10 drones were shot down over the Moscow, Bryansk, Kaluga, and Tula regions in the early hours of November 26.

“A large-scale UAV attack was carried out. Air defenses shot down UAVs in the Naro-Fominsk region and the city of Odintsovo, as they were en route to Moscow. Another UAV was shot down near Podolsk,” Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said in a Telegram message on November 26.
Mr. Sobyanin added that the UAVs did not cause any casualties or significant damage to Moscow. Emergency services are responding to the incident and locating the debris.
However, in the city of Tula, an intercepted UAV lost control and crashed into a high-rise building in a residential area, causing minor injuries to one person, according to local Governor Aleksey Dyumin.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced overnight that a "terrorist attack plot had been thwarted," confirming that at least 11 drones were intercepted in four areas southwest of the capital Moscow.
Earlier this month, a Ukrainian general in charge of UAV operations stated that Kyiv was preparing for a large-scale UAV offensive against Russia this winter, as ground fighting was expected to temporarily subside due to harsh weather conditions.
On November 25, Ukraine accused Russia of carrying out its "largest drone attack ever," with most targets located in the capital Kyiv. The Ukrainian Air Force claimed to have intercepted more than 70 Russian drones in a single night.
Moscow has accused Kyiv of "exaggerating" its achievements, claiming that the number of weapons systems Kyiv shot down was greater than the number actually launched by Russia.
