On August 19, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics will start construction of a new strategic branch - UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang, with the positioning as "A place where global scholars and knowledge converge".

Groundbreaking on a special occasion of the country
The project is one of 80 key national projects simultaneously started and inaugurated on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and is also in the group of 5 typical projects of Khanh Hoa province.

Professor - Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, said that the new facility will undertake three main tasks: training high-quality human resources to meet the needs of socio-economic development of the region; researching and transferring practical solutions; connecting the network of scholars, students, and businesses at home and abroad.
UEH Nexus Campus inspired by Champa architecture - local culture and tradition
The branch focuses on training, research, and international connections associated with the advantages of Khanh Hoa province and the potential of the region such as: sustainable marine economy, marine spatial planning, ocean technology, microchips, health care and community development.
"In particular, the strategic branch will implement an educational cooperation program following the ASEAN Cooperative Education model, helping students have the opportunity to study and experience at leading enterprises in the Asian region, increasing their ability to integrate into the international working environment, aiming to become global citizens" - Professor Thanh emphasized.
The project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026. UEH Nexus Campus Nha Trang will become a place of knowledge convergence, a place to nurture a new generation of human resources, contributing to the implementation of the sustainable development and integration goals of Khanh Hoa province as well as the South Central Coast - Central Highlands region.
UEH Nexus Campus is inspired by Champa architecture, reflecting local culture and traditions. The campus has a training scale of 2,000 students, 90 working spaces for staff and lecturers, and many areas for research, creativity, and community connection; the dormitory provides accommodation for nearly 400 boarding students.
