According to Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Hanoi's education sector is the largest in the country, with over 2,900 schools, nearly 2.3 million students, and 128,000 teachers. The quality of education in the capital city is constantly improving.

Recalling President Ho Chi Minh 's teachings on caring for and planting trees, "For the benefit of ten years, plant trees; for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people," and "Each person should plant at least one tree during Tet to contribute to making the homeland and country ever more vibrant," said Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. He stated that, in implementing Uncle Ho's teachings and responding to the Prime Minister's campaign to plant 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period and the Tet tree-planting campaign launched by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and Dong Anh district have always considered planting, caring for, and protecting trees as a key and regular task, contributing to beautifying the local environment and creating a "bright, green, clean, and beautiful" pedagogical landscape for schools and classrooms.
