The Vietnamese men's fencing team reached the finals against Indonesia. The Vietnamese team included Nguyen Van Quyet, Vu Thanh An, To Duc Anh, and Nguyen Xuan Loi. The athletes defeated Malaysia in the qualifying round to reach the semi-finals. In the women's team fencing event, the Vietnamese team including Luu Thi Thanh Nhan, Pham Thi Ngoc Luyen, Ha Thi Van Anh, and Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong will meet the Philippines team in the semi-finals.

SEA Games 32 review, May 15:

With a "rain" of gold medals from diving, aerobics, martial arts, and fencing, Vietnamese sports won 20 gold medals on May 14 and achieved a total of 107 gold medals at the 32nd SEA Games, far surpassing the second-placed team Thailand with 91 gold medals.

Among them, athlete of Thanh Hoa - Cao Thi Duyen excellently won the 3rd gold medal at SEA Games this year.

Cao Thi Duyen won a total of 3 gold medals and 2 silver medals at this year's SEA Games.

On the 10th day of competition (May 15), the two remaining athletes from Thanh Hoa, Dang Thi Linh (Wrestling) and Hoang Thi Tinh (Judo), will officially compete. These are the two names expected to successfully defend the gold medal won at the 31st SEA Games.

Dang Thi Linh is the defending champion of Wrestling at SEA Games 31.
