On June 3, in Bu Dang district (Binh Phuoc province), the delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association led by Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Tran Trong Dung had many meaningful activities to respond to the "Tet tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho"; World Environment Day June 5, as well as celebrate Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day June 21.

At Bu Lach grassland ( Dong Nai commune, Bu Dang district), the delegation, together with leaders of departments, branches and localities, participated in planting 3,300 yellow cotton trees on an area of 3.4 hectares of forest, with a cost of 200 million VND, including seedlings and care costs for 4 years.
The delegation donated cows to poor households in Bu Dang district.
In addition, the Vietnam Journalists Association mobilized businesses to donate 5 cows, worth 65 million VND, to 5 poor households in the area; and 2 solar lighting devices to the Bu Dang Protective Forest Management Board.
Next, the delegation went to Bom Bo village, Binh Minh commune, where the program "Proud of the National Flag" of the Lao Dong Newspaper presented 5,000 national flags in the "National Flag Road" component to local people.

The 5,000 national flags presented on this occasion are part of the 15,000 flags that the Lao Dong Newspaper presented to Binh Phuoc province on the afternoon of June 2 at the meeting and information exchange program between Binh Phuoc province leaders and press agencies.
Leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, press agencies and localities together performed the ceremony of presenting the national flag to the people.
At the same time, the "Scholarship Program to Support Ethnic Minority and Poor Students" founded by Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, former Politburo member, former Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Honorary Chairman of the "Proud of the National Flag" Program, and managed by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, has also awarded 35 scholarships, worth 2 million VND each, to poor and studious students. Previously, on June 2, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper awarded 15 scholarships to students in Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc Province.

On this occasion, students in Bom Bo commune were also given 100 cartons of milk by the business mobilization delegation.
According to Mr. Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, this is the first time the Vietnam Journalists Association has coordinated with the Central and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies to organize such a practical and meaningful program.
