Attending the conference were Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, and Mr. Nguyen Manh Than - Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association and President of the Hanoi Tourism Association.
The conference was chaired by Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh, and Ms. Vuong Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa.
This is the fifth year that the provinces of Nghe An , Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh have jointly organized the Tourism Promotion Conference. With the messages “Nghe An Tourism – A Green Journey”, “Thanh Hoa Tourism – The Beauty of Four Seasons”, and “Ninh Binh – The Exquisite Beauty of the Ancient Capital”, this conference aims to promote the image of destinations, markets, tourism products, new services, and typical tourism events in 2025 of the three localities; and to build a regional tourism image through linking together a green journey with many exciting experiences.
The conference aims to promote cooperation and linkages in marketing, market development and positioning, and introduce the 2025 stimulus program to the northern provinces and cities, while also creating opportunities for tourism businesses in the three localities to meet tourism partners nationwide.
On this occasion, the three provinces also organized a networking event between tourism businesses in the provinces and businesses from the North and other localities. The program aimed to introduce products, services, and promotional packages, while also promoting business cooperation in the tourism sector.
Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and Ninh Binh are provinces with rich and diverse natural resources. They offer a full range of tourism options, including many valuable historical and cultural relics and famous scenic spots.
In 2025, Nghe An province will have many unique cultural and tourism events: the Cua Lo Beach Tourism Festival on April 19th; the Sen Village Festival with a series of activities: the opening ceremony of the 2025 Sen Village Festival and the inauguration of the "Uncle Ho Visiting His Hometown" monument, the inauguration of the 9-tiered waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan in Nam Dan district, the art program "From Sen Village to Ho Chi Minh City", the exhibition of cultural and artistic heritage space "Ho Chi Minh - The Most Beautiful Name", the photo exhibition "ASEAN Countries and People"... In addition, Vinh City will have many new attractions to draw tourists such as: the night market and pedestrian street on Nguyen Hue Street - Nghi Thu ward every Friday to Sunday evening (from 6 PM to 6 AM); the renovation of the sea daisy check-in spots at Lan Chau peninsula, Binh Minh Square, the fishing port and Cua Hoi bridge, and the sea daisy conservation area; The Cua Hoi amusement park (VinWonders Cua Hoi) will be a highlight. Notably, in 2025, Cua Lo beach will provide free Wi-Fi, free shower facilities, and free public parking for residents and tourists visiting Cua Lo.
Adventure tourism products such as "Conquering Puxailaileng Peak" - considered the "roof of the Northern Truong Son mountain range", caravan tours "Exploring the Western Nghe An Route", and eco-tourism experiences like "Kayaking - hiking, mountain biking" from Pha Lai, Ban Xieng to Co Phat village, Mon Son commune, Pu Mat National Park; community and eco-tourism in Sang Le Forest... along National Highway 7 to serve the needs of tourists, as well as experiential tourism products in flower gardens and farmstays in the western communes of Nghe An.
By 2025, Nghe An tourism aims to welcome 6,100,000 overnight tourists, including 130,000 international visitors, with tourism service revenue reaching 11,800 billion VND.
Thanh Hoa : With a series of 150 events spread throughout 2025, including 89 cultural events, 25 sports events, and 36 tourism events, Thanh Hoa aims to welcome 16 million visitors; total tourism revenue in 2025 is estimated at 45,500 billion VND.
This year, Thanh Hoa continues to improve and develop new experiences for tourists, such as: conquering 12 trekking tours in the mountainous districts of Thanh Hoa; experiencing floating restaurants, Vietnamese villages, four-season villas, bungalows on the lake, golf courses, commercial areas, entertainment and high-end shopping, mineral baths, and health care at the Lamori Resort & Spa ecological tourism complex (Tho Xuan district); experiencing street art and enjoying cuisine at the Vlasta - Sam Son coastal urban and resort complex; and Sun World Sam Son water park with family and children's game complexes appearing for the first time in Southeast Asia and Asia. Hot air balloon festival, beer festival, Lalamingo Park pedestrian street, hot spring onsen city, indoor amusement areas such as: ice cream museum, light maze, four-season swimming pool at Flamingo Hai Tien tourist area, Hoang Hoa district...
This year, Ninh Binh aims to welcome over 9.1 million tourists, including 2 million international visitors. Revenue is estimated to exceed 10,000 billion VND. Many of Ninh Binh's tourism products have been highly praised by international media, such as the Tam Coc tourist area, which CNN featured as one of the 7 most beautiful caves in Vietnam, and which Telegram (UK) once voted as one of the 15 "Stunning but little-known" destinations. Travel and Entertainment Magazine (USA) ranked Ninh Binh among the 12 most beautiful filming locations in Asia. In 2024, Ninh Binh was ranked 4th in the "Top 10 wonders of the world for those who dislike crowds" and among the top 10 most captivating experiences in the world.
This April, Ninh Binh will organize a series of activities to celebrate the 1057th anniversary of Dinh Bo Linh's ascension to the throne as Emperor (968 - 2025), establishing the Dai Co Viet State, and commemorating the 1020th anniversary of the death of Emperor Le Dai Hanh (1005-2025).
