Regarding the alleged incident of an invigilator taking photos of exam papers in the restroom at the Nguyen Dang Dao High School examination center (Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province), a representative from the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training informed Dan Tri newspaper on the afternoon of June 17th that the department has requested relevant authorities to cooperate in verifying the allegations.
"The matter is currently under investigation and verification. Following the conclusion of the investigation by the relevant authorities, the Department will coordinate with other units and request the competent authority to resolve and handle the matter strictly, publicly, and transparently in accordance with the law, ensuring the legitimate and fair rights of candidates and the staff and teachers involved in conducting the exams."

As Dan Tri newspaper previously reported, the entrance exam for 10th grade high school in Bac Ninh province for the 2024-2025 school year took place from June 6-8.
Following the end of the exams on June 8th, information appeared on social media regarding parents' complaints that during the math exam, invigilators called students to the restroom (with their answer sheets) and took photos of their papers at the exam center at Nguyen Dang Dao High School.
Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , Mr. Nguyen Duc Ha, Head of the Quality Management Department of the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, confirmed that violations of examination regulations occurred at Nguyen Dang Dao High School.
The police are investigating and verifying the incident. "After the Tien Du District police clarify the details, the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training will release official information about the case," Mr. Ha said.
Upon receiving information posted by parents on social media, the Department visited the school to investigate the allegations. "We have initially determined that violations of regulations have occurred."
"Specific details cannot be disclosed at this time as the police are still investigating. The police have met with the candidate's family to verify the information, but the content does not match what the family posted on social media. We believe the matter is quite complex and requires time for thorough investigation and verification," Mr. Ha said.
Specifically, according to Mr. Ha, it was initially determined that the student only asked to go outside, not to take the exam paper out for the invigilator to photograph. Furthermore, only one student went outside, not 3-4 students as alleged on social media. The invigilators outside also stated that they did not observe any such incident.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dung, Principal of Nguyen Dang Dao High School and also Chairman of the school's examination board, said that when inspecting the examination rooms, he did not notice anything unusual; everything proceeded according to regulations.
"When the information spread on social media, the school investigated the specifics of the incident, but so far there is no concrete information," Mr. Dung explained.
Despite being the school principal and chairman of the school's examination board, when asked by a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper about how the school had verified the information circulating online, the statements of the accused invigilator, and any related students (if any) regarding the incident, Mr. Dung stated that "nothing has been done yet."
Specifically, according to Mr. Dung, after the exams are over, the exam room files are packaged and sent to the Department of Education and Training. He doesn't know who is assigned to which spot, who is invigilator 1, and who is invigilator 2 (?!).
Regarding the allegations on social media, Mr. Dung stated that since they originated from an unknown source, and the invigilator's identity was also unknown, the school did not know if the incident was real or if any students or teachers were involved.
