On the morning of June 9th, Ngo Thanh Van posted a lengthy message expressing her outrage at a news website for using her and her husband's images, names, and related information to publish unverified content, using data and images from many years ago.
"This is no longer just a matter of inaccurate reporting. This is the act of using someone else's image, reputation, and brand value to create engaging content without the consent of the image owner and without fulfilling the minimum obligation to verify information before publication. We have archived all evidence, data on dissemination, reach, interactions, and damages incurred related to this article," Ngo Thanh Van said angrily.

She stated that she has been working with legal departments to assess civil liability, compensation for damages, and measures to protect the legitimate rights of individuals and businesses involved.
According to Ngo Thanh Van, following the aforementioned official announcement, any unauthorized use of her family's images for commercial purposes or interactive exploitation will be considered a violation. Furthermore, false, distorted, manipulated, or intentionally misleading content that affects her honor, reputation, and business operations will not be addressed through mere warnings.
"We reserve all rights to request the removal of content, public corrections, public apologies, and compensation for damages as prescribed by law. This notice also serves as an official warning to all organizations, individuals, and entities that are using or intend to use our images without permission," she said.
Previously, the producers had also repeatedly appealed for help. Notably, Ngo Thanh Van demanded an end to the unauthorized use of her image, AI voice, and name for advertising or the dissemination of fabricated information. "Every individual deserves respect and protection of their image. As a stay-at-home mom wholeheartedly caring for my young child, I only want to dedicate peace to my family. But the proliferation of fake content recently has made me feel insecure and worried," Ngo Thanh Van stated.
For many years now, Ngo Thanh Van has not been active in the arts and film industry. She and her husband have focused on their vegetarian restaurant business.
In an interview with Tri Thức - Znews , Ngo Thanh Van shared: "I think everyone has a point where they choose to stop and do something different. For me, that turning point was the moment I met Huy Tran. After getting married, I realized another aspect of myself in life. There, I am happy and no longer feel any pressure. I don't have to relentlessly pursue overly ambitious goals and passions. Otherwise, those grand passions would weigh down my life and myself too much."
