According to the latest V-League transfer news, foreign striker Augustine Chidi Kwem is likely to join a club currently playing in Vietnam's top football league.
Several agents have introduced this player to the V-League, and the 1.87m tall striker may be announced as a new signing by a V-League team in the near future.
Augustine Chidi Kwem is Nigerian but has spent most of his career playing in South Africa. In his most recent season, the striker scored 7 goals for Ama Zulu FC. However, after the season ended, Chidi Kwem left the club.
Recruiting new foreign players who have never played in the V-League is a new trend among Vietnamese clubs today. Instead of transferring existing foreign players domestically, many clubs are looking for new foreign players, and some have achieved considerable success, such as Pedro Henrique (The Cong Viettel ) and Luiz Antonio (Thanh Hoa).
Next season, it is expected that 48 foreign players will be registered to compete in the early stages of the V-League.
