Báo điện tử VOVBáo điện tử VOV02/08/2024

According to the latest V-League transfer information, foreign striker Augustine Chidi Kwem is likely to join a club playing in the highest league of Vietnamese football.

Some brokers have introduced this face to the V-League and the 1m87 tall striker may be announced as a rookie by a V-League team in the near future.

Augustine Chidi Kwem is a Nigerian national but has spent most of his career playing in South Africa. In the most recent season, he scored 7 goals for Ama Zulu. However, after the end of the season, Chidi Kwem left the club.

The selection of new foreign players who have never played in the V-League is a new trend of Vietnamese clubs today. Instead of transferring existing foreign players in the country, many clubs are looking for new foreign players and some cases have achieved certain success such as Pedro Henrique (The Cong Viettel ), Luiz Antonio (Thanh Hoa).

Next season, it is expected that 48 foreign players will be registered to compete in the first stage of the V-League.
