A man in Ho Chi Minh City wins the Vietlott jackpot of nearly 149 billion VND.

A man in Ho Chi Minh City has just won the Vietlott jackpot of nearly 149 billion VND. This is the third largest Vietlott lottery prize this year.

On the afternoon of November 11th, the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Vietnam Computerized Lottery (Vietlott) presented the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 self-selection lottery, draw number 1105 held on the evening of October 26th, to Mr. NTP.

Mr. P. is the owner of the winning ticket for the Jackpot 1 prize worth 148,717,283,700 VND (nearly 149 billion VND). This is the third largest Vietlott lottery prize this year.

This lottery ticket was issued at a Vietlott sales point on Hoa Binh Street, Hoa Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietlott awarded the Jackpot 1 prize worth nearly 149 billion VND to Mr. NTP.

At the awards ceremony, Mr. P. stated that he is a freelancer living in District 8, Ho Chi Minh City. He revealed that he spent 20,000 VND to buy the aforementioned "lucky" ticket.

The winning ticket had the numbers 05 - 19 - 27 - 29 - 42 - 47. This winning set of numbers was randomly selected by the machine.

According to regulations, Mr. P. is obligated to pay personal income tax at the place where the winning lottery ticket was issued, which is Ho Chi Minh City, with a total value of nearly 14.9 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND), and this tax will be deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.

At the awards ceremony, Mr. P. donated 1 billion VND to the Tam Tai Viet Fund.

Since the launch of the Power 6/55 lottery (August 2017), the highest Jackpot 1 prize ever won in this lottery type has exceeded 314 billion VND. This Jackpot 1 prize was won by Vietlott in the draw on April 11, 2024.

Interestingly, two customers shared the same jackpot, each winning over 157 billion VND. The winning tickets were sold at stores located at 14 Xô Viết Nghệ Tĩnh Street, Ward 19, Bình Thạnh District, Ho Chi Minh City and 10 Phạm Đình Hổ Street, Ward 1, District 6, Ho Chi Minh City.

The second-highest Jackpot prize, worth over 303 billion VND, was found in draw number 119 and was awarded to a customer in Hanoi .
