From early evening, the square area was crowded with people, especially families with young children. The hot weather of early summer not only did not reduce the heat of the event but also contributed to the festival atmosphere being more vibrant and bustling. In the stream of people eagerly waiting for the fireworks, there were many free mineral water stations arranged throughout the area to support the attendees.
“At first, seeing so many people, I was worried because of the hot weather. But when I received a bottle of cold water from the volunteers, I felt really comfortable and cared for,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (residing in Thu Duc city).
Not only were people satisfied with the brilliant fireworks that lit up the night sky, they also felt the thoughtfulness and warmth from the organizers when free drinks were given out throughout the event.
Organizers said they distributed more than 2,000 bottles of water during the event. Volunteers were on duty constantly, moving around the area to ensure that no one was left without water, especially the elderly and children.
