At noon on September 4, in village 9, Dong Phu commune, Dong Nai province, people discovered a woman with signs of mental instability, carrying a baby about two months old, wandering around many houses, causing local public opinion to be extremely confused and worried.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Commune Police sent officers to the scene to verify, approach and coordinate with local authorities as well as people to safely carry the baby. At the same time, the mother was taken to the commune health station to monitor her health and ensure her safety while waiting for relatives to be verified.
The commune police investigated and identified the woman as Ms. D.TM (born in 1992, from Dak Sin commune, Lam Dong province), who had been missing since October 2024 due to mental illness. After successfully contacting the family, Ms. M.'s parents and younger brother immediately traveled from Lam Dong to Dong Nai to pick up their daughter and grandchild.
Dong Phu Commune Police, together with other departments and organizations, also mobilized and supported 3 million VND to help Ms. M's family return home safely.
