On July 29, information from Can Tho Central General Hospital, the unit has just successfully operated on a female patient who was hit in the head by a bullet while gardening.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 28, while gardening at home, Ms. DTKT (40 years old, living in Can Tho City) was suddenly hit in the back of the head by a hard, marble-shaped object.
The victim's family took him to the Can Tho Central General Hospital for emergency treatment with a wound in the occipital region about 1cm long. Next to the wound was a hard, round mass, like a bullet, about 0.5x0.5cm in size.

After examination and consultation, the doctors determined that this was a metal foreign object similar to a bullet, so they deployed a surgical team. After about 45 minutes of surgery, the bullet was successfully removed. Fortunately, the bullet only penetrated the skin and lightly touched the occipital bone, causing no serious damage to the brain or nerve structures.
Currently, patient T. is awake, responsive, the surgical wound is dry, and no localized neurological symptoms have been recorded.
Authorities are verifying and clarifying the origin of the bullet, as well as the cause of the bullet hitting the victim's head.
