Born and raised in Yen Dong (Yen Lac) with a rich tradition of studiousness, teacher Le Hong Quan became a teacher because of his love for Mathematics since childhood. Student Le Hong Quan was always fascinated and "intoxicated" by the numbers, rules, and geometry of Mathematics, and later, that flame was nurtured, spread, and became the guiding principle in theeducational career that he chose.
After more than 2 decades on the podium, Mr. Quan is both a teacher imparting knowledge and a companion of many generations of students. In each class, he always shows enthusiasm in every lecture, every caring look and every carefully prepared lesson plan. He constantly innovates his expertise, always updates and uses active teaching methods. In particular, in the context of strong digital transformation, he is a pioneer in applying information technology software such as PowerPoint, E-learning, learning management software, etc. to help improve teaching effectiveness.
But the most impressive thing about Mr. Quan is the way he inspires and instills a love of learning Math in his students. Each lesson is linked to real life, with real-life examples, stories about great mathematicians, or everyday situations that can be solved with logical thinking.
Mr. Quan always tries to make Mathematics less dry, more interesting and closer to students; focuses on classifying students according to their abilities, thereby building a suitable learning path to arouse the spirit of self-study and confidence in each student. Not only is he a knowledge transmitter, Mr. Quan is also a person who connects and understands students. For students with difficult circumstances, he, along with homeroom teachers and parents, find ways to support them so that they can continue to go to school, study in a loving and fair environment, in line with the humanity of the Education sector.
Mr. Quan also devoted much effort to the work of nurturing gifted students. The image of a teacher diligently in review sessions, nurturing students, diligently working under the lights with lesson plans, exam preparation questions or when he kindly talked and encouraged each student further emphasized the beauty and nobility of the teacher.
In the past 5 years, Mr. Quan has trained hundreds of students to win district and provincial prizes; more than 100 students won medals from the Vietnamese Math Violympic, English Math, and National Math Talent Search competitions, contributing to making Yen Lac Secondary School's Math the top subject in the province for many years.
In particular, in the 2023-2024 school year, Mr. Quan trained 2 students to win first prize in the provincial Math competition, after which both students were directly admitted to the School of Natural Sciences , Vietnam National University, Hanoi in the 2024-2025 school year. 80% of the students taught by Mr. Quan passed the entrance exam to Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, including twin sisters Hoang Nguyen Trang and Hoang Nhu Trang who became valedictorians and salutatorians in the entrance exam to grade 10 at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted in the 2024-2025 school year.
Pham Minh Hoang, a former student of Yen Lac Secondary School, said: "Since entering secondary school, being taught and nurtured by Mr. Quan, I have become more and more passionate and fond of Math. Not only did he teach me knowledge and inspire my passion, he also trained me to be careful, persistent and determined in my studies to achieve my goals. Currently, I continue to invest in my passion for Math to realize my dream of becoming a future Mathematician."
Not only is he a good teacher, Mr. Quan is also active in research and has many innovative experiences that contribute to improving the overall quality of education of the school and the industry, such as: "Some types of exercises in the Vietnam Math Talent Search contest", "Method of solving math problems by simplifying expressions"... which are highly appreciated by colleagues and effectively applied in teaching.
Mr. Quan has a simple and exemplary lifestyle, always setting a good example in all activities, actively building a strong Party cell and Trade Union, participating in voluntary blood donation movements, supporting poor students, because for him, being a teacher is not only teaching but also teaching students how to be a good person through kind actions and lifestyles.

With his extensive knowledge, sharp teaching methods, innovative thinking and dedication to work, he has "inspired" many generations of students and led them to achieve high academic achievements.
For many years, Mr. Quan has been a grassroots Emulation Fighter, receiving many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from all levels and sectors. In 2025, he received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister - a worthy reward for his journey of more than 20 years of dedication to the education sector.
With his love for his profession and his spirit of innovation, Mr. Quan not only "sows knowledge" but also "sows dreams", fostering the desire to reach the pinnacle of knowledge in the hearts of many generations of students so that they can become useful citizens, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous homeland and country.
